Weaver’s Walk is a public pocket park in West Hollywood that offers a vibrant, shaded urban garden to a stretch of Melrose Avenue. Set within a highly active commercial corridor across from the Pacific Design Center, the park creates a moment of respite, inviting visitors to slow down, gather, and engage with the landscape.

At the heart of the park, Karon Davis’s sculpture Before Picasso creates a striking, colorful focal point, and serves as the anchor to the space. The eighteen-foot-tall purple figural form rises above a grove of redbud trees, evoking West African Guro loom pulleys. The weaving pathway below uses a pattern of precast pavers that draws from the graphic motifs of traditional Guro textiles.
