Rosewood Residences
Beverly Hills, CA
Rosewood Residences is a boutique, 17-unit condominium development in Beverly Hills that pairs refined residential architecture with a highly integrated landscape strategy. The project emphasizes privacy, spatial continuity, and a seamless indoor–outdoor living experience.
Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen with MVE Architects, the building massing and material palette create a quiet, modern presence within the urban context. Generous terraces, deep overhangs, and operable glazing systems support natural light, ventilation, and visual connections to the outdoor environments.
In addition, the landscape design in characterized by Mediterranean-adapted plantings, raised planters, and layered on-structure greenery.A varied mix of textures & colors adds interest to the elegant living spaces, creating a sense of separation from the surrounding city.
Trellises, pergolas, and hand-selected pottery introduce vertical structure and spatial definition, while coordinated soil depths and irrigation systems support healthy long-term growth across the podium. The raised planters along the perimeter of the outdoor patios provides a green surround to each of the outdoor rooms.
From the entry Porte Cochere to the rooftop Pool Deck, generous planting softens the architectural elements, transforming the residential terraces into a garden-like setting, enhancing the sense of home.
